One of our innovations in terms of compliance is in relation to recent legislation passed in Australia. This legislation restricts access for children under 18 to all social media apps.
It's envisioned that the way for companies to comply with this legislation is to age verify all users. We think this is overly intrusive and unnecessary. Users don't want their personal IDs or biometric data on file.
The change could be implemented at the OS level for ease of compliance. Children's devices could be tied to their date of birth, and mature content could be automatically blocked or restricted until the age of 18.
